One of Tupac’s biggest fans is now the proud owner of his old school Hummer H1.  It sold for a whopping $337, 114. Tupac got the vehicle only 3 months before he was gunned down two decades ago. He was murdered on September 7, 1996 and only 3 days after that he passed away. Shakur was only 25 years old.

This Hummer was no ordinary Hummer, though. Tupac went all out and customized the whip with all the bells and whistles one could imagine.

“The ‘Ambitionz Az A Ridah’ rapper customized the vehicle with off-road lights, diamond plate bumpers, 360-degree spotlight and a grille guard along with an external PA system coupled with three sirens. Also, it was equipped with an automatic transmission and a 6.5 liter turbo diesel V8 engine,” says Vibe.com.

Additionally, the whip has cream colored interior with burl wood trimmings. The purchaser of the Hummer is a die hard ‘Pac fan from the Midwest, who decided to keep his identity on the wraps. Not a bad idea. When Tupac died his mother, Afeni Shakur, took ownership of the vehicle along with a few others.

Executive VP of RR Auction released a statement about the recent purchase: “It’s an incredible piece of hip-hop history that evokes the invincible spirit of one of rap’s true lyrical giants. We are thrilled at the price achieved and with the continued success of our specialty themed auctions.”
