Philando Castile, 32, was shot and killed by a police officer on Wednesday evening (7/6/16).  His girlfriend, Lavish “Diamond” Reynolds, took to Facebook to catch the entire ordeal via live feed.

Castile and Reynolds were traveling with their daughter in the backseat when suddenly they were pulled over for a busted tail light.  The video captures a nearly lifeless Castile gasping for his last breath while blood soaked his white t-shirt.  Surprisingly, Reynolds manages to keep her cool while communicating with the officer as well as everyone over the live feed.

QUESTION #1: How does a woman that just witnessed her boyfriend get murdered in front of her sound more level headed than a police officer who’s been hired to serve and protect?

You can see/hear Reynold’s state to the video, “We got pulled over for a busted tail light in the back….He’s licensed to carry.  He was trying to get out his id and his wallet out his pocket.  And he let the officer know that he had a firearm and was reaching for his wallet and the officer just shot him in his arm.”

Then you see the officer pointing the gun at Castile’s lifeless body frantically saying, “F***! I told him not to reach for it. I told him to get his hand off of it.

QUESTION #2: Isn’t it proper protocol for a driver to tell a police officer that they have a weapon (especially after being asked to present their ID) so there’s no confusion as to what is being reached for?

VIDEO: New Footage Surfaces Proving Alton Sterling Did Not Pull Out A Gun

The entire video was a total of 10 minutes long but has since been removed from Facebook.  The video below captures Lavish Reynolds handcuffed in the back seat of the cop car with her daughter.  Reports are being made that the child is only 4 years old.  All you can hear is the child offering words of comfort to her hysterical mother.

QUESTION #3: Why was Lavish handcuffed and thrown into the back seat of a cop car with her 4 year old daughter? Who is the criminal here?

One of the most disturbing factors that come into play is the fact that Philando was actually shot 4 times.  Doesn’t make sense at all.

Reynolds says to the police officer, “Please don’t tell me that he’s gone. Please don’t tell me that he’s gone. Please officer, don’t tell me that you just did this to him. You shot four bullets into him, sir. He was just getting his license and registration, sir.”

QUESTION 4: How will this police officer justify shooting Philando 4 times when there was no weapon pulled out?

Philando was a father, a boyfriend and a son who worked as a cafeteria supervisor at a school.  He attended Central High School in St. Paul and after graduating went on to attend the University of Minnesota.  He was a black man; not a thug or a criminal.  Most of all, he did not deserve to die.  He was killed because of the color of his skin.  And how unfortunate that his child and girlfriend had to witness such a horrific thing.  Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Philando Castile.

FINAL QUESTION: How does a family find peace after one of their loved ones has been killed by the very same organization that is designed to serve and protect?

We are in a state of emergency and things need to change fast before another life is hashtagged.
