The Bad Girls Tour was scheduled to kick off on October 27th and this would have been Iggy’s first North American tour in four years. Clearly the rapper is no stranger to setbacks, as her 2015 Great Escape arena tour was also cancelled, leaving loyal supporters devastated.

When Iggy announced that The Bad Girls Tour was cancelled, her fans quickly flocked to Twitter, showing heaps of support to the Sydney born rapper. One person said, “We love you regardless Iggy” and another wrote, “Please don’t be hard on yourself, like you said its out of your control”.
Last week it was confirmed that Chicago rapper ‘Cupcakke’, would no longer tour with Iggy. This was definitely an indication that plans were uncertain, and rumour has it that this may have heavily contributed to the situation at hand. Fans are speculating if some tour dates are still going ahead and while this is possible, the chances are highly unlikely now that Iggy has made the announcement via Twitter.

While there isn’t a clear explanation for why the tour was cancelled, apparently the promoter, Live Nation stated it is due to “unforeseen circumstances”. Refunds are said to be available at the point of purchase.
