On February 8, Glady’s Knights Chicken & Waffles located in Atlanta failed its health inspection with a low score of 56.
From what we understand this restaurant is loved and visited by many whenever they are touring the city of Atlanta.
WSBTV.com is reporting that the restaurant was in violation of a number of things. For starters, one of their reach-in coolers was missing a door, which caused some of the food to be out of temperature. In addition, there was debris on a can opener, ceilings and vents. Last, their Serve Safe certificate was out of date and had expired.
Last April when the restaurant had been inspected it received a score of 94, which is considered an “A.”
Unfortunately, the score of 56 will be posted at the restaurant in plain view for everyone to see. It will be re-inspected soon and we’ll keep you posted on the results.
Good luck, Gladys.
