Chris Rock Says There’ll Be A #Blackout On The Oscars Tonight

Everyone’s been up in arms and unhapy about the lack of diversity on the Oscars.  Well, a #Blackout is on the way, claims Chris Rock.

We’ve already heard Chris Rock call the Oscars out for it’s lack of diversity.  He says he’s hosting the White BET Awards.  Our only job is to expect some shade to be thrown at the Oscars for not honoring more actors of color.

Rock took to Twitter to hint of this #blackout and that he’ll see us on Sunday.

We can’t imagine how much pressure Chris must be facing with the drama centered around there being no black nominees this year.  But as we can see he hasn’t backed down and will be hosting the show later on this evening.

The Huffington Post is reporting that the Academy is supposedly “excited” and super eager for Rock to address the #OscarsSoWhite issue.
