So an email, discovered by CNN, has surfaced that is saying that “a crucial civil deposition given by the actor 10 years ago can not be used in any criminal case against him.”
Back in 2005, Bill Cosby gave a deposition where he admitted to stepping outside of his marriage by cheating with at least five other women.  Not only did he admit to cheating but he also stated that he used sedatives to drug these women.
The email was drafted by a former DA in Montgomery County.  It speaks of the verbal agreement the prosecutor had with Cosby and his team in relation to his 2005 sexaul assault case.

The attorney clearly stated that Cosby’s deposition would not be used in any other criminal matters against him.   PLOT TWIST: The email was sent 90 days before criminal charges were brought up against Bill last year.
The DA states: “I can see no possibility that Cosby’s deposition could be used in a state criminal case, because I would have to testify as to what happened, and the deposition would be subject to suppression  I cannot believe any state court judge would allow that deposition into evidence. …. Knowing this, unless you can make out a case without that deposition and without anything the deposition led you to, I think Cosby would have an action against the County and maybe even against you personally.”
In case you need a small reminder, this is in relation to the allegations brought up by Andrea Constand, whom is claiming that Cosby assaulted her back in 2004.
Cosby admits to cheating but denies all sexual abuse allegations.
We will keep you posted on what happens next.
